Megan Hildebrand grew up in Rhinelander and decided to return after graduating from UW-La Crosse with a degree in Early Childhood-Middle Adolescence Education and Spanish. She also obtained a masters degree in professional development, also from UW-L. Megan taught for five years in 4th grade, 1-2-3 multiage, 2nd grade, and 1st grade.
